Not on time!

Quote from Wei Yang's journal:

Leaders are to make sure that jobs are to be assigned to the subordinates and making sure that the job gets done nicely by due date.

If you are too soft-spoken, or if you prefer to just inform what you want to do to just a few people but you expect the news to spread to everyone...then you will not get your job done.

Please...leaders...be strict, stern, and inform the sub-group leaders if not everyone in a formal meeting, verbally, in a clear and loud manner about each and every decision that you wanna make. There are bad people who are reluctant to offer help (inevitable)...but there are also good guys who will definitely offer a helping hand (only if they knew about it). Don't discuss only among yourselves. Make sure everyone is well-informed, ok?

Don't ask:"Is there anyone willing to help me?", Instead, state:"xxx leader...please ask yyy group members to get this done by zzz date"; Ohyeah, please allow sufficient time for the person whom you appointed to finish his job. You don't expect someone to draw you a poster in a day, right? Give them at least a week.

To all the leaders: don't cry in loneliness...let us share your burden...Let us know what's happening...don't just discuss everything among yourselves...Make every decision of yours well-known to all!

I'm deeply depressed by the fact that there is really nothing I can do to help. There is a number of things holding me back. Plus, I have no right to give any orders at all, as these are entirely volunteerly. I'm sad to see that everything is being delayed so terribly long, and untill now... even the venue is not completed. I dare say, if things are put in my hands to decide, I would have got the catering ready, the venue set, the tickets printed, the posters up, the news spread, and most of all, the play practising. Yet, all i can do is just sit down and shut up!

It's really not hard to get the venue and catering, I already got them, 'secretively' just in case they screwed up. These people still wants to go with the idea of posh. I think it's all bullshit, if they still stick with that, we can never get anything done. The posters and tickets designs, isn't really that hard that the world need to wait for everyone to do it, and furthermore we already know where is the cheapset shop around to get printings. Why is he still waiting for helpers? Just do it yourself, for goodness sake, it's damn easy really. If I were to do it, in 2 days I can get the tickets done, and 4 days for the posters. Look at the time now, we are 2 months behind schedule. Yet they still go for europe trip. *Slumber*

I have friends coming from london, from warwick, from bath, from edinburgh, and even all the way from malaysia. Where can I put my face? I just don't have confidence that everything will run smoothly.

Alright, let's face the fact. I can't all blame them about it. People here aren't that willing to participate or give a helping hand. or is it beacuse we did not spread enough news? That our advertising isn't good enough? either way, whenever I give a suggestion on advertising, they will come up with excuses that people won't be intereseted lar, it's no use lar. But why wouldnt they try? They are afraid that the method I use might spoil our reputation. Oh come on, haven't you guys studied advertising before? or at the very least observe how corporate companies send messages? The key point is to get the message across, doesn't matter if it's stupid or silly, or unrelevant. Look at that, i still don't have courage, I still fear of wrong doing. ARGHH...

If I were to lose the fear of being wrong, I know where I would be standing right now. Many things has happenned, and I'm no longer who I am, or what i wanted to be. Somebody please help me remember...
